Established in 2024, Oshikoto College of Agriculture (OCA) was founded to address the growing need for skilled agri- cultural practitioners in Namibia. Our institution is dedicated to providing quality training in Horticulture and Crop Pro- duction (NTA Level 2), Livestock Husbandry (NTA Level 2) and Farm Management (NTA Level 2), guided by the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) framework.
Namibia faces significant challenges, including dependency on imported agricultural products, high unemployment rates and limited access to agricultural education, particularly for vulnerable groups. OCA aims to tackle these challenges by empowering students, unemployed youth and vulnerable populations with practical skills and knowledge to create sus- tainable livelihoods.
